P0003 – SANAE XV : Antarktika – deserta et intactum : by Gerhard Cillié and Lennis van Schalkwyk

SAGI member Lennis van Schalkwyk has kindly provided us with the under information on a book he and colleague Gerhard Cillié have authored and recently launched covering their extraordinary experiences during time spent as part of the SA National Antarctic team 1974-1975.  Our congratulations are extended to Lennis and Gerhard and very sincere thanks for sharing these experiences, albeit some 30 years later.

Although the book is currently only available in Afrikaans, we are sure the contents and photographs will interest and delight many.
