There is a general shortage of professional land surveyors and technical surveyors, with the result that many work opportunities exist throughout South Africa. You are encouraged to make contact with our Secretariat or tertiary education websites for details on a career in surveying. "I find land surveying is still a most fascinating career after 30 years of practice. It is varied, challenging and you meet many wonderful people from all walks of life, to assist with their land and its development." G. Lloyd, president of SAGI |
